Barbed Fishing Hook is a common Draenor Clans archaeology artifact, created from 45 Draenor Clans Archaeology Fragments. One  [Draenor Clan Orator Cane] may be used to solve this artifact.

Description

This arm-length nest of barbs has less in common with a traditional fishing hook and more with an elaborate halberd. You can only imagine the size of the leviathan that could be pulled in by such a hook, and it's no surprise that most orcs prefer to hunt their prey from land.

Trivia

  • During the Warlords of Draenor alpha this artifact's description read: "This arm-length fishing hook has less in common with a traditional fishing hook and more with a halberd. The Stormreaver clan are the master navigators and fishermen of Draenor, and judging by the size of this hook their prey is no less savage than those of the landlocked clans." This description matched with the maritime capacity displayed by the Stormreaver clan during the Second War. However, according to the Warcraft II manual, the clan was said to only have been formed after the Old Horde's arrival on Azeroth, and so all mentions of an alternate Stormreaver clan were removed prior to the release of Warlords of Draenor.
