Backdraft is a Destruction warlock talent. It reduces the cast time of 
[Incinerate] and 
[Chaos Bolt] for 5 seconds after the warlock casts [Conflagrate].
Patch changes
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 3 Destruction talent (was a level 14 Destruction ability). Now also affects 
[Soul Fire]. 
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now a level 14 Destruction ability (was a level 15 Destruction talent). 
Hotfix (2017-02-21): Backdraft reduces the cast time of Chaos Bolt and Rain of Fire by 15% in PvP situations (was 30%). - Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): Now reduces the cast time of your next two Incinerates or Chaos Bolts by 30%. This stacks up to 4 charges.
- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now a level 15 Destruction talent (was a level 69 Destruction ability). No longer limited to 3 casts but now lasts for 5 seconds, down from 15 seconds.
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): 
[Pyroclasm]'s effects have been merged into Backdraft: Chaos Bolt will be affected by Backdraft, but consumes three charges. 
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now a level 69 Destruction ability (was a tier 3 Destruction talent) and no longer affects 
[Shadow Bolt] and [Chaos Bolt]. Now has a maximum of 6 charges. 
Hotfix (2011-02-18): Instant-cast Shadow Bolts from Shadow Trance (both the talent and 
[Glyph of Corruption] versions) should no longer consume charges of Backdraft if both procs are available. Shadow Trance will always take priority and be consumed first when Backdraft is active. Subsequent Shadowbolts will consume Backdraft stacks. - Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now a Tier 3 talent (was Tier 9). Now only reduces the cast time of [Shadow Bolt], [Incinerate], and [Chaos Bolt] (was any Destruction spell).
Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Now also reduces the global cooldown of your next three Destruction spells by 10/20/30%. - Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
