Armored Battleboars are ferocious boars found in the Battleboar Pen on Red Cloud Mesa. They are wild boars that have been tamed by the Bristleback quilboar to be used against the tauren, and have been abused beyond hope of recovery.[1] To give them a wild thirst for blood, the battleboars are force-fed raw flesh.[2]
Adana Thunderhorn asks adventurers to put down the boars[1] and set fire to the troughs of meat they feed from.[2]
Abilities
Boar Charge — Increases the Physical damage dealt by the caster and increases its movement speed 4 sec.
Notes and trivia
- Setting fire to the meat troughs during
[1-10] Feed of Evil will usually set several Battleboars on fire as well, killing them and reducing the amount of boars that have to be killed manually for [1-10] The Battleboars. - With the right skill, it was once possible for hunters to tame a Battleboar after it has caught on fire during [1-10] Feed of Evil, allowing them to keep a boar pet with the fire effect. However, this glitch has since been fixed on an unknown date.
