Arcane Quickener was used to cleanse the cauldrons in Western Plaguelands. Since the cauldrons and associated quests were removed in Cataclysm, it no longer serves any purpose.

Arcane Quickener is sold by Alchemist Arbington at Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands for Alliance and Apothecary Dithers at the Bulwark in Tirisfal Glades for the Horde. You must have completed the Cauldron quest line to purchase this item.

The subject of this section has been removed from World of Warcraft but is present in Classic Era.

Notes

• As of patch 1.11, there is no timer on this item but still disappears after 30 minutes. As of patch 4.0.1, the timer is properly displayed again.
