Arcane Meditation is a Mage talent that allows some mana regeneration to continue while casting. This applies to spirit-based mana regeneration, which normally does not restore mana inside the five second rule. With three points in this talent, 50% of the mage's spirit-based mana regeneration will continue during the five second rule. Arcane Meditation stacks with the spell 
[Mage Armor]. This talent is popular with high-level mages, where mana efficiency over long raid boss fights is important.
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed. 
Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Now grants 17/33/50% of mana regeneration while casting. 
Patch 2.3.0 (2007-11-13): Increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration (was 5/10/15%). 
Patch 1.11.0 (2006-06-19): Reduced from 5 ranks to 3.
