Anvilmar family

The Anvilmar family once ruled over all dwarves with High King Modimus Anvilmar. After his death, before his eldest son could be officially crowned, civil war broke out between the three clans and the Bronzebeard Clan took over the rule over Ironforge. As a token of reconciliation however, the Anvilmar family got a permanent seat in the Senate of Ironforge.

The patriarch of the Anvilmars wears the Helm of the Anvilmars. Since the death of his brother Hjalmar, Thargas is the actual patriarch of the Anvilmars.

Thargas' father and grandfather defended the Thandol Span from the Dark Irons.
