The Ancient Translocator in Faith's Repose.
While traveling from one translocator to another, the player is turned into a bolt of energy.

The Ancient Translocators are waystones[1] that serve as the equivalent to flight masters in Zereth Mortis, marked on the world map as Ancient Translocator. They are only connected to each other and can not be used to travel to flight points in other zones or vice versa. There are three normal Ancient Translocators in Zereth Mortis, two in the western parts of the zone and one in the east. Just like flight masters, they need to be found and interacted with before they can be traveled to.

In addition, two unique translocators connect the unnamed overlook east of Pilgrim's Grace[64.86, 53.55] to the entrance of the Sepulcher of the First Ones.[73, 53.4] These two are initially unusable, only becoming available after completion of the Zereth Mortis campaign quest N [60] The Pilgrimage Ends, and serve as a simple back-and-forth transport with no connection to the other translocators.

Background

The translocators are believed to function by channeling the energy that flows from the Creation Catalyst to the Forge of Afterlives.[2] The Enlightened prefer to use these devices for travel across the realm rather than risk disturbing sacred ground or disrupting the automa and wildlife.[3]
