Aaron Keller is a Lead Level Designer at Blizzard Entertainment.[1] He was formerly a 3D artist for World of Warcraft[2] and is currently the Game Director for Overwatch.[3][4][5]

Keller joined Blizzard in September 2001, and the first game he worked on was the original World of Warcraft.[6] He was a member of the "Dungeon Team" responsible for designing the game world's dungeons and capital cities.[3][6] At one point during development, the producer of the dungeon group wanted to assign all of the game's dungeons and cities to various members of the team. All of the locations were written up on a whiteboard, after which everyone started going through and picking which projects they wanted to work on. Keller noticed that no one was picking the cities and decided he wanted to be the one to build Stormwind City.[6] In addition to designing Stormwind, Keller also built Darnassus, Ironforge, and Thunder Bluff, consequently becoming known as "the city guy" among the team.[3][6] In addition, Keller created the model for the Lion's Pride Inn[2] and helped design Karazhan.[7]
