Captain Zixx Grindergear is a goblin who commanded a zeppelin during the assault of Northwatch Hold. His first mate was Blar Xyzzik.

After the battle of Northwatch was over, he participated in a meeting called by Baine Bloodhoof. There the tauren, Kelantir Bloodblade, Frandis Farley, Vol'jin and some others were discussing about Garrosh Hellscream and this war. However, he informed Garrosh and Malkorok about this meeting and they thought that they were plotting against them.
