8 March 2011 – Wowpedia's Spring 2011 contest!
The Spring 2011 contest is now over! We've given away a couple of Razer keyboards and some Curse premium subscriptions! See the winning screenshots on our contest page.
8 February 2011 – Patch 4.0.6 live, Wowpedia hits 90,000 articles!
It's patch day! Take a look at the patch notes to see what changed. Make sure to update your AddOns!
Also, Wowpedia crossed the 90 thousand article barrier in the past day or so. We couldn't have become the most comprehensive wiki guide to World of Warcraft without your support. Thank you and keep editing!

4 December 2010 – New Community Site Now Live!
Blizzard Entertainment has officially rolled out its new community site, unveiling many new features including Wowhead and Wowpedia integration!
20 October 2010 – Wowpedia.org is live!
Wowpedia.org is a now a fork of WoWWiki and is supported by Curse Gaming. Most of the WoWWiki administration and many of its active users have migrated over to Wowpedia.
