If you kill a mana wyrm in-game, their remains are small, translucent blue orbs. Second, she then casts resurrection and holy nova later in the movie. Third, her concept art in the Burning Crusade art book specifically calls her a priest. Parqual Fintalas 13:59, 9 May 2007

S&L image: final word

Technically, you are correct, there is nothing that definitively confirms that the image is of Malfurion and Tyrande. However, application of lore will show us that (barring new characters), there is nobody else it could be- We don't know exactly how night elves gain antlers, but we do know that Staghelm doesn't have them, in spite of his Archdruid classsification. A high-ranking Sentinel in the arms of an antlered archdruid could only be Furion and Tyrande, unless she's an unnamed daughter (highly unlikely).
