DNP Policy

I've posted an answer to your query. Theres no need to post on all the bureaucrats pages. Ressy (talk) 14:31, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

I want to hear it from an admin really, I also think they should realise how the page sounds to a new person really, it's very confrontational simply jumping to threats in the first paragraph rather than explaining any reasons, it doesn't exactly win you over if you know anything about the internet (e.g. 'ban' is an oxymoron) and think that some information should be shared if it doesn't harm anyone but is interesting, even if it doesn't leave Blizzard in the best light for letting such stuff be found. If this site is not independent of the company, someone will make one that is :p but forks are not nice it's better if everyone can just get along really. --Kittymew (talk) 14:45, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi, please don't spam pages. Thanks. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 14:47, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
It would really help if you had an admin discussion board or something :) --Kittymew (talk) 15:03, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
We have forums. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 15:05, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Ah thanks :) You know what I didn't even look at the link on the side for the forums, I'm used to it being a dead zone on like every other wiki and everything being done on page-style noticeboards and talk pages, seems you have put the forum thing to quite good use it's got stuff from today even on it, cool. :) --Kittymew (talk) 15:11, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
  • How can "ban" be an oxymoron? It's only one word.
  • Quote: "some information should be shared if it doesn't harm anyone but is interesting, even if it doesn't leave Blizzard in the best light for letting such stuff be found." - Speaking of oxymorns, this statement contradicts itself. And they are not "letting" such stuff be found, it is being found by force.

I think you're on the wrong wiki. You want WikiLeaks. ;) -- ScratchMonkey (talk) 21:26, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I only have admin access in-case I screw up some CSS stuff, I'm a wiki manager from Curse if you were wondering why I have admin status, I try not to take place in too many wiki affairs because it's not my site to run. (: --Bumble (talk) 16:48, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Fact on server pages

Using {{fact}} on server pages is futile, considering that (most of) the content is created by players on the realm, making up a community. Trying to get any factual sources on statements ("PvP on the server is rather frantic and is easy to spark" on Server:Burning Legion Europe) is a silly idea. --g0urra[T҂C] 18:55, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

RE:How do you do Warcraft 1 screenshots at high resolution without menus etc?

Hi Kitty, a pleasure to answer your question. Sorry to answer this late, but I had my first vacations in many time and I didn't use my time checking the wiki. As you had thought, I took a bunch of screenshots and put them together in paint, then I saved the image in Irfanview so that it doesn't lose quality by saving it in paint. I know some things about screenshots, stats and that stuff from all the Warcraft RTSs; I try to update and put most info from that games thought lately I haven't been very active because of school and my job. Feel free to ask for doubts regarding that games ;) Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 02:09, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

And regarding the questions made to Baggins, Coobra and Rolandius, I wanted to told you that Baggins seems to be inactive and Rolandius was banned, so they may not answer your questions. I don't have the answer now, but I'll try to get it. Its good to have contributions to the old RTSs :) Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 02:14, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Template:User casual

Considering this template had been the way it currently is (with the bag and without the link) for quite a while before your revisions, which at least two people object to, perhaps you should instead create a different template to use on your page. :) ~ Colanai [ t / c ] 18:50, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
