I discussed creating the 2345 and 2346 articles on the "Village Pump" section and was encouraged. 2345 and 2346 are common and oft-used terms in the PvP community to describe a very popular arena team composition.--Halcor (talk) 20:35, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

You were encouraged to create arena strategy articles, not define slang terms; you might instead create a page like "Popular arena team compositions", possibly list the pros and cons of having each spec/class there, without defining it to a given term. And if the terms you did define have seen wide enough usage to deserve an article, please cite the usages. I located the phrase in the DNP policy I assume you are referencing:

"Pages which don't make any sense (English or in any other language) may be candidates for deletion. This may include slang terms and forum memes if they do not reach outside the scope of one small group of people who are using it or are aware of it. Terms and memes which only exist on one server are permissible within the server's page and subpages."

My best guess is that you deleted it because you believe 2345 to not be known outside one small group of people. This phrase is extremely well known among the entire PvP community to describe the most common high end arena composition. It composes 20.3% of teams over 2200 rating, and 15.4% of teams over 2000 rating (shown here). Perhaps you are not an arena player, and are not aware of this phrase, but it is far from limited to a "small group of people". Arena players are no smaller a group than any given class, or those that raid high end dungeons. If pages that are specific to a Mage or a strategy guide to a Boss in Sunwell Plateau are appropriate, these Arena articles are as well

Thank you. This is my first article here. I'll try to copy the format of some other articles, but I'm sure I could use some help in bringing the format and style of the articles upto par.
