Bookkeepers

By "Sign your post" we meant literally signing the comment (just type "~ ~ ~ ~" without the spaces). This leaves a link to your name and the time and date of your post. I'm not sure how much research into the team you've done, but right not, we divide the lore based on personal interest. For example, my domain in Night Elves, so I check the Night Elf pages for discrepancies in the lore primarily. Of course, all Bookkeepers keep an eye on their watchlists and the recent changes page to investigate new edits on all major lore pages. Now, your username is a bit familiar to me, so how much work on Wowpedia (or wikis in general) have you done? (You've already demonstrated more competency in English than some other applicants, which is always a plus) If you are accepted, what region of lore would you like to watch over? --Ragestorm 06:04, 14 June 2006 (EDT)

I'm afraid I cannot accept your application to the Bookkeepers at this time. You will be considered strongly for a position in the future, however, I feel that Bookkeepers must demonstrate more experience on Wowpedia. Understand that your ability is not called into question, simply the amount of editing experience. --Ragestorm 10:35, 19 June 2006 (EDT)

If you'd like to be one of our BC informers, that would be great- we always need new sources to check and make sure we're doing things right. However, we have been instructed by the admins not to accept any new members for the forseeable future, so I cannot offer you admission. Part of the reason for this is the need for a finalization on certain issues, certain reevaluations to perform in various fields, seeing how the new Warcraft Encyclopedia will affect us, etc. It's all very beaureucratic, but I'd like to think we'll come out of it a little more streamlined.
In the meantime, keep contributing, avoid some of the more rancid speculation, make sure our BC info is good. --Ragestorm 09:46, 7 November 2006 (EST)

Image:IllidaninWoW.jpg

Can you please explain how this image was acquired? As far as I know Illidan, and the Black Temple, are not currently implemented into the game. As such, I can only imagine that this image was data mined (or possible emulated for the purpose of seeing content not currently supposed to be seen). This sort of image, therefore, would not be allowed on Wowwiki. If you're not sure on where the image came from, remove it before an admin does ;) User:Kiltek/Sig 08:59, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

Hmm.. It's been removed from the article that it was used in, which is probably safe since we don't know where it came from. Keep it uploaded though, once the new content patch is released with the Black Temple then it could probably be added without anyone being bothered about it! ps. Sign talk posts with ~~~~ ;) User:Kiltek/Sig 10:12, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
