Old Naxx quests

Should I understand that you've actually made progress on the old quests, or some such? I do know that some quests that are no longer offered can still be shared (for instance, the AQ materials quests) --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 18:02, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, you can still do both Naxxramas - The Dread Citadel (the old attunement quest) and Echoes of War. I don't know about the AQ materials quests, though, but I'd imagine that depends on whether the materials needed are still available in Naxxramas. I do know that the Tier 3 gear quests are still in game but impossible to complete since the requisite mats (such as Frozen Runes) were removed from the "new" Naxxramas in 3.0.2. It's a difficult subject, quests which are only partially removed from the game. The AQ quests I mentioned are no longer completable in that the NPCs to turn them in to have been removed. As well, when they removed the The Great Masquerade quest chain, if you still had one of the individual quests, you could still complete it, but the next quest in the chain was not offered. (Again, personal experience.) So yeah, pretty much any way you can orphan a quest, Blizzard's done in the past.  :) --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 20:03, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

Your opinion is desired

Hey, we're pretty much settled on leaving Wikia, but I wanted to see if you had any input. Thanks. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 00:23, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for inviting me to post my thoughts. I placed a response on the talk page concerning the Wowpedia move-or-stay question. Essentially I'm happy with the way things look now as opposed to the white-background skin, but I will defer to the judgement of the more experienced editors on here as to whether they think we should go or stay Please keep me updated on what we decide to do. Nathtaleth (talk) 02:55, October 13, 2010 (UTC)
We won't be switching to the white-background skin. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated. --Pcj (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 02:56, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Icons

OK, I'm probably going to look like an idiot for asking this, but is there a list of icons that I can see when creating a new items page so that I can choose the correct one right off the bat? I'm sure there is a much easier way than typing "|icon=INV_Plate_Legs_01" then hitting the "Preview" button, then changing the number and previewing until I finally the correct item icon to use. I've been looking and can't find a help category on this. Thanks! Nathtaleth (talk) 17:35, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Project:WoW Icons/Icon List/Images should be a complete list of icons. - Aedror (talk) 17:42, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
The best way is probably to use the item gadget to create item pages, thus you won't have to find the name of the icon. The other way is use wowhead, clicking the icon will give you the name of it. Thanks! Was just about to ask you on your user page how you were able to get all that information on the new pages I just created, since I'm sure it would save me a lot of time (and let me do a lot more editing) if I knew the correct procedure to use. Nathtaleth (talk) 22:22, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
