History
Geography
Geographic Description
Sometime before K'aresh's destruction, the great battle that took place in M'aradel between the forces of the void and those of Nex'dara, the Ethereum Throne, led to the land being ravaged and abandoned by both sides. The great technological feats that once existed were destroyed and disabled, and the remnants of the scientific center of research in K'aresh remained. As a result, M'aradel is very unique. The rolling plains largely remain with its surrounding boreal, pinewood outskirts; the war in M'aradel has left void scars in several spots throughout the region, however. Beyond this, capsules of strange energy stored far beneath the surface of M'aradel emerged upon its destruction, leading to the floating spires, stones, metals and ruins seen throughout the zone.
Having once been a place of imperial pride, great structures can be seen floating in the Great Dark Beyond, and grassy and ruined stone highways still remain with large flags reminding wayward travelers of the original might of the Ethereum Throne.
Getting Around
The denizens of K'aresh have had to improvise in order to adapt to their new environment. As a result, there are several new means through which players and the residents of K'aresh can journey to the expansive planet's different regions, including some tech-savvy ones in M'aradel.
Brood of Gor'dolga
Around M'aradel, players will discover several smaller versions of the Beast of Ages at the zone's center. These machines, known collectively as the Brood of Gor'dolga, can be activated by collecting their missing keystones, and will launch players towards certain locations.
Surveyors
Players can also taunt hostile Surveyors, which are flying machines that can be re-programmed to take players to certain locations very quickly.

Search for the Machinist (Campaign)
When players left M'aradel to search for a way to open the great gate at Al'nir's center, the Al'niri swore to strive towards ensuring more information about M'aradel could be uncovered to discover the Stone of Triumphs. Indeed, they discovered it, but it was being held hostage in the zone's northern Royal Apothecarium.
