History

More than five years ago a unique Alliance guild was formed on Arathor. From the beginning the guild has been built on the idea of community, although this ‘social’ focus has not kept the guild from making progress in the World of Warcraft. The guild was started by ‘Talos’, but the leadership was soon passed to ‘Neca’. Neca formed the base of the guild, built up a solid staff and The Imperium was given its shape and values, which still hold true today.

March 2007 was a heartbreaking time for The Imperium – as our beloved guild leader, who had done so much for us all, sadly passed away. A brave gnome ‘Qualityst’ held the guild together and became our new leader. Qualityst kept Neca's beliefs, ideas and values front and centre and the guild went on with its mission.

Even though The Imperium is a social guild, this didn't keep its members from raiding and doing so very successfully. In August 2009, new leadership was chosen. The new leader and his officers blew a fresh wind through The Imperium and the guild now feels it can take on anything once again.

- We can provide a solid home where everybody will be glad you log on, whether it is for raiding, questing, levelling, instances or even just for a chat, no matter what level, class or spec you are. - We have a nice guild bank, which is kept stocked up by our members, for our members. - We raid two evenings a week and we're currently halfway through ICC (10 man). - Our raids are conducted with a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. - Heroic and normal instance groups are usually formed every night. - Need some help with a group quest? You won’t be afraid to ask in guild chat. We've got our own website, Ventrilo server and sometimes our raids even get broadcast live over the net.

We're currently looking for more members because, in our eyes, the old saying ‘the more, the merrier’ still applies and we're also trying to form a team to raid 2 times a week and evtually hit the 25-man versions of raids.
