Patch the Crazed is the first boss encounter of the Darkbrewer Laboratories wing of Forge of Goblinium. Defeating Gazlowe opens the doors leading to Darkbrewer's Cauldron and Iron Horde Landing.

Patch, leader of the Gob Squad, was sent to the Forge of Goblinium to spy on the Sparknozzle Cartel's schemes. Soon after learning of the forge's dark purpose, Patch was discovered by Sparknozzle soldiers and taken to be a test subject for Ezzel Darkbrewer's volatile concoctions. Due to numerous experiments, Patch was transformed into a hideous, mindless brute. Broken free from his test chamber, Patch now wanders the forge's laboratories, yearning to regain control of his mind.
