The Last Legion is a friendly, extremely casual guild that meets once a week to raid/quest/pvp/what-have-you.

Guild progress

History

The Last Legion was created by a group of friends who wanted a no-pressure, casual guild. Founded in December of '05, The Last Legion found its home on the Maelstrom server after a failed attempt at starting on the then brand new Lightninghoof server. Server queues and connection problems plagued that first attempt, so some of our more vocal members left us no option but to look for an established RPPvP server. We have met nearly every Tuesday since our inception.

In the begining, the guild quested and leveled together and set a level cap on our mains so that no one would be left behind. While frustrating at times, this resulted in some neat things. For one, everyone hit level 40 at the same time and we had saved up and used guild funds to buy everyone a mount. We had a ceremony to award these to our members. So far, for each expansion, we have continued the tradition of setting a level cap and leveling our mains together.

All of our members are either people that we know in real life, or people who we have grouped with for a long time that have proven to be like-minded.

Guild rules

There is pretty much one rule: Don't be a jerk*.

  • "jerk" may be substituted with your favorite synonymous vulgarity.

Officers

We don't have much of a leadership structure and any disputes that arise are usually mediated by a fair tempered third party.
