Mists of Pandaria

After the Cataclysm shook the world and the fall of Deathwing the Destroyer, Thrall, Son of Durotan, has taken the defeated titan's place as Aspect of Earth. As the former warchief continues to heal the Maelstrom's dwindling wound into Deepholm, tensions between the Alliance and Horde reach their height, and all out war breaks out. Little do they know what unspeakable horrors wait to burst free from their bonds just beneath them.

The slumbering menace known as N'Zoth is rising. In the undying wake of the Cataclysm which disturbed him, his servitors have rallied and struck. The Zandalari, the Azsharan naga, and the secretive Druids of Nightmare, have forged an alliegance fallen from grace to serve N'Zoth and bring about the New Age; an age where chaos, blood, flame and shadow rules, an age where only the loyal survive, an age without mortal races.

After a brutal, if accidental attack on the naga city of Nazjatar, Queen Azshara has pledged alliegance to the Old God N'Zoth in exchange for the fall of Neptulon. After her "control" over the seas was achieved, the Light of Lights allied with Zandalar. In a campaign for his new master, King Rastakhan of Zuldazar united most troll nations in the name of Zandalar, sparking a rebellion in his own kingdom. As the civil warring nation struggles to keep the attention of the Alliance and Horde, Nazjatari forces continue to search for other servants of N'Zoth, and find them- in the reclusive Druids of Nightmare.

Using their combined magics to tear open a rift into the Emerald Dream via the healing Maelstrom, the servitors of N'Zoth have gone about bringing the perfect conditions into the Dream, and into Azeroth. Ahn'Qiraj, ancient prison of C'thun, God of Chaos, has been inhabited by 'the Dark', unspeakably evil beings released by N'Zoth's shifting. Qiraji and Silithid activity has skyrocketed, and a dark presence is returning to the sands of southern Kalimdor...

With the reignitied Emerald Nightmare expanding, Nazjatari spellcasters have begun their siege on the Dream. Fouled by chaotic and arcanic magic, the once tranquil plane is beginning to tear and singe. With one of the Spirit Trees sundered and captured by Old God forces, without aid, the Dream will soon be converted to an apocalyptic state, allowing N'Zoth to emerge from its whimsical grasp.

Meanwhile, Zandalar continues its struggle against the Alliance, Horde, and the Zandalari Resistance. Allying with the Alliance and Horde to bring the tyrant Rastakhan down, the Resistance operates in strike teams throughout the island, namely in the capital of Zuldazar. Though in some regions of the world, the Alliance-Horde War bloodily rages on, in the dark seas controlled by servants of evil, they must work together to destroy a common enemy. As an assassination attempt to take out Rastakhan is underway, the Resistance enlists the innocent denizens of the two powers to aid in their plight. Though greater troubles plague the dying world, the Dark, the Nazjatari, and the Druids of Nightmare are subtle in their ways...

Their master, N'Zoth's, plan, was perfectly executed. After nearly two years, finally, all was in place. N'Zoth would be freed from his bonds in the Dream, awaken in Azeroth, and the world would burn in righteous chaos again. His behemoth form would rise from the underworld and strike down his enemies- mortal, dragon, god... Or otherwise.
