With the Lich King's reign of terror over, the Nerubians are now poised to retake their home in a legacy defining fight against extinction. What were once enclosed dungeons overrun run by the living dead and maniacal cultists have been restored to their former stunning glory, opening up the vast underworld of Northrend all that much more.

History
Geography
Setting foot into Azjol-nerub is quite akin to setting foot on an alien planet. What was once a thriving civilization, Azjol-Nerub has been reduced to shattered ruins and broken history. Riddled with bumpy hills, dotted with rocky outcroppings, and threaded with unexplored caves, the zone has proven difficult to penetrate by both members of Alliance and Horde. Furthermore, with Azjol-Nerub bearing bubbling pools of lava and groups of raving cultists hiding like roaches in the darkness, many have forewarned that this foray into the depths of the planet will result in nothing but calamitous disaster for all involved.
