Guild Rules
We expect all Fleet Members to be courteous and respectful to EVERYONE that they encounter while representing the Guild. Whether it be enjoying the company of your closest friends and Guildies or having to grit your teeth through that random soul-destroying PUG with people from another realm acting like 5-year-olds, the common theme is that we expect Fleeters to take the higher ground and represent the Guild with respect.
The full and current list of guild rules is available on the guild website.
Raid Rules
Members should generally be online 10 minutes before Raid start. If you aren't, you can and will be replaced. Look for your character to be as prepared as possible. Be repaired, prepared to use potions, reagents and food buffs, and most importantly, use the multitude of resources available online to know at least the fundamentals of the Boss encounters for Raid that you're entering.
Ventrilo is mandatory for all raiders. Members who sign up for raids must be present when invites go out; if they cannot be present, they must inform an officer. Members who sign up but do not receive invites are asked to stand by in the event that they are needed to replace a member of the raid.
The complete story on raids and invites is in the guild rules on the guild website.
Loot Rules
Loot is distributed to any suitable character by a Random Roll, but there is a priority list. Main Characters win over Alts and Main Spec wins over Off Spec. Main Spec items are one per person at the start of a Raid and are counted even if your roll is uncontested. There are some exceptions and finer details, and they are also available in the guild rules on the guild website.
Schedule
The raiding schedules varies a bit from week to week and is maintained using the in-game calendar by the raid leaders.
Guild Ranks
The guild is made up of the following ranks:
- Fleet Admiral (Guild Master)
- Admiral (Raiding Officer Main Character)
- Captain (Guild Officers and their Alts)
- Raider (Main raiders, have priority for the more cutting-edge content. Ranks are reset with each new content patch.)
- Mate (The majority of the Guild)
- Deckhand (All non-Officer Alts)
- Swab (Newly recruited players)
All new players to the Guild will be automatically ranked as a "Swab" when they are invited.
Guild Progress
Guild Progress updates are available on the guild website.

Trivia
The First Fleet was originally a combined US & Oceanic social / progression raiding guild. The active membership was split roughly in half between those living in the United States and those living in either Australia or New Zealand.
For most of the combined guild makeup, to accommodate the time difference there was at least one Oceanic 10-man raiding team and one US 10-man raiding team. These 10-man teams raided on week-nights. On the weekends the combined 25-man team would raid -- Friday and Saturday nights Server Time (and for US Raiders) and Saturday and Sunday mornings for Oceanic Raiders.
The Guild was originally founded by the Oceanic Group, and The First Fleet is a reference to the Australian Colonial Fleet. It was comprised of eleven ships that sailed from Great Britain in May of 1787 and landed in New South Wales in January of 1788.
