Arthas arrives at Uther's encampment.

Arthas: Glad you could make it, Uther.

Uther the Lightbringer: Watch your tone with me, boy. You may be the prince, but I'm still your superior as a paladin!

Arthas: As if I could forget. Listen, Uther, there's something about the plague you should know...

Arthas: Oh, no. We're too late. These people have all been infected! They may look fine now. but it's just a matter of time before they turn into the undead!

Uther the Lightbringer: What?

Arthas: This entire city must be purged.

Arthas meet Alexstrasza.

Arthas: Wait... What's going on here?

Alexstrasza the Life Binder: I have come to warn you, Young prince.

Arthas: Warm me of what? This has to be one of the tricks of Mal'Ganis!

Alexstrasza the Life Binder: I am Alexstrasza the Life binder. As guardian of life. I have come to let you know about your future.

Arthas: I see. I've heard tales of you, dragon. You have my attention. Have you come to aid me against Mal'Ganis?

Alexstrasza the Life Binder: I'm afraid not, young prince. I am not part of this timeline, but it's my duty to give you other major choices for your delicate future. Let me show you.

Arthas to see the vison.

Arthas: Huh? Isn't that Muradin? What is he doing here? Where am I? What is the meaning of this?

Arthas: What is this nightmare?

Alexstrasza the Life Binder: Driven mad by your hunt for Mal'Ganis, you betrayed a friend to achieve vengeance. That, my young prince. is just the beginning of everything that will unfold your dreadful fate.

Arthas: This cannot be! Impossible...

Arthas: Thank you for these visions, dragon queen. I hope we meet again.

Alexstrasza the Life Binder: Farewell, young prince. I must go now. I trust you completely understand and rethink your plans.

Arthas talk with Uther.

Uther the Lightbringer: How can you even consider that? The're go to be some other way.

Arthas: Uther, I had a vision.

Uther the Lightbringer: By the light. Arthas, what has happened to you?

Arthas: We have no time waste. Jaina, I need you to warn my father about the plague. Lordaeron is lost. We must leave for Kalimdor as sooon as possible.

Uther the Lightbringer: Lad, this isn't too late. I heard about the plague but Lordaeron will be a better place beacause we---

Arthas: Enough of this, Uther. I have seen the future. Lordaeron has already fallen. We must take as many people as possible. We don't have time to waste anymore!

Arthas: Go, Jaina. I will stay here with Uther to hold the Undead back as long as we can.

Jaina Proudmoore: Arthas... Be careful.

During the Mission

Mal'Ganis teleports into Stratholme, flanked by two Ghouls.
