The paladin Class Hall, in a hidden templar sanctum beneath Light's Hope Chapel.

Druid Class Campaign.

Class Hall - The Conservatory of Life

Druids are called to the sanctum of Freya in Ulduar, the Conservatory of Life. The region has been expanded by Freya since she was liberated from the control of Yogg-Saron, and includes large forested areas and subterranean grottos. Freya expands her sanctum to watch over the shattered world tree of Vordrassil, which was corrupted in ancient times by Yogg-Saron. Freya aids the druids in restoring the Emerald Dream and erasing the lingering infestation of the Nightmare. Wild Gods from across Azeroth can be found venturing to the Conservatory, aiding in strengthening the druids for their battle against the growing darkness beneath the world.

Class Hall Special Benefits

Druids can find special groves in the world related to the power of the Emerald Dream. Communing with nature at these places of power grants the druid special blessings from the worlds Wild Gods, and can allow them to summon mighty allies from the Emerald Dream to aid them. Some groves are polluted by the lingering horror of the Nightmare, and must be cleansed before they can be used.

In a polluted furbolg den, the druid recovers a splinter of Vordrassil that seethes with dark power. Battling faceless ones and other twisted horrors in the depths, the druid is able to focus the power of the Dream to cleanse the splinter, restoring it to a pure source of nature power. With the staff in hand, the potential for Vordrassil to be reborn, pure and uncorrupted, now lies with the druid.

Campaign Storyline

The druids commune with watcher Freya, learning of her march across Azeroth and the origins of the Emerald Dream and the Wild Gods. The druids also learn that although Xavius and N'Zoth have been destroyed and large swathes of the Dream have been purified, the Nightmare of the Old Gods still endures in the Dreams most distant, unexplored reaches, and Freya enlists the druids in her continued efforts to purge the Nightmare from the Dream.

Freya sends the druids to seek out the original Dream breach, where the Old God Yogg-Saron first planted the seed of the Nightmare in the Emerald Dream long ago. In the dark and Nightmare-shrouded corners of the Dream, the druids discover that the Dark Ancients, evil Wild Gods called into being by the Twilight's Hammer during the Cataclysm, survived their destruction, their souls tied to the Nightmare and returning there to be reborn when their physical forms were destroyed. The druids must battle Nemesis, Lycanthoth, and other evil deities while seeking out and purging lingering Nightmare tumors.

The druids' ultimate test comes when they meet the dark forces directing the resurgent Nightmare, the new self-declared Nightmare Lord - a Dark Ancient spawned as a twisted reflection of the bear gods Ursoc and Ursol, a two-headed bear abomination named Nurrsog. After a desperate battle where the druid calls upon all of their allies, the Wild Gods, Freya, and the spirits of the Dream, Nurrsog is obliterated and another infestation of the Nightmare is purged from the Dream.

Freya praises the efforts of the druids, but warns that the Nightmare will likely remain a threat forever, constantly seeping from the unfathomable angles of the Rift of Aln, and that the protectors of nature must maintain a constant vigil to ensure that it never grows strong enough to threaten the world again. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the druids, balance will be maintained, and the safety of the world preserved.
