Twilight City.
Background
After Malykriss' failed assault on Dalaran, the saronite necropolis plummeted from the sky and crashed deep into the underground glacial caves of Shadowcrown. After being partially restored by Tyr, the long-last titan watcher of Ulduar, Malykriss was able to take flight again and limp to the great stronghold of the iron dwarves, Dreadstorm City. There, legions of iron dwarves had been revived by Tyr and were hard at work crafting a mighty apparatus - the Dreadforge.
Malykriss has taken up its place above Dreadstorm City, awaiting the restoration of its former glory. In the meantime, the surviving members of the Twilight Cult have rallied and taken up residence in a specially prepared quarter of the city. Here they labor to unlock new and deadlier powers and weapons in the service of Xarosan, that they might restore the face their master has lost after the Cult's failure to destroy Dalaran.
Seething over his failure, Xarosan remains within Malykriss, while the arach'layn move to take direct command of the Twilight Cult. Under the direction of the arach'layn, the Cult is preparing a dark ritual to call forth an entity from the Deep Void, one of the most frightful dimensions in all of existence.
Dungeon Journal
The Twilight Cult have been welcomed as allies by the newly revived iron dwarves. A portion of the iron dwarves fortress city has been given over to the Twilight Cult for use as a base of operations while Malykriss is repaired. The Twilight Cult has been re-organized to allow their newly recruited members from the Cult of the Damned to display their capabilities, and these former worshipers of the Lich King have put their necromantic powers to good use in creating hideous monsters and alchemical weaponry.
Encounters
Plaguemeister Cortex
An insane alchemist who perfect his vile art as a member of the Cult of the Damned. Cortex recently isolated the Curse of Flesh and intends to combine it with a strain of Scourge plague.
Bulgrim
A brutal champion of the Twilight Cult, Bulgrim is eager to spill blood in the name of his dark masters.
Demur the Dischordant
An elemental entity composed of sonic energy, born from the death scream of a hundred worlds sundered by countless terrible fates.
Nargosax, the Intruder
Heroic Mode Only - One of the banished aqir who has been called up out of the Deep Void. Incarnating into the prepared flesh of a nerubian Newbreed, Nargosax is but the first of untold multitudes of aqir to return to Azeroth.
Archonus the Transcendant
A lord of the Twilight Cult who has achieved elemental ascendance using all four elemental powers, an unheard of achievement. The elemental balance he has achieved is extremely unstable, however.
