The Twilight Cult have improved the nerubian Newbreed by infusing them with the essence of their qiraji and mantid cousins. The new monstrous Newbreed creatures are to act as vessels for the departed aqir spirits that were lost between dimensions, trapped in the Deep Void, the blackest realm in all creation. The rituals of the Cult and their arach'layn overseers have called forth one such aqir spirit - Nargosax, the Intruder. He is but the first of many to become flesh again. After 16,000 years of exile, his hunger knows no bounds.

Abilities

Phase One

•  Cruel Strike  —  Nargozax inflicts 50% of his current target's maximum health in damage. The target will gain a 20% bonus to the next heal they receive, and then suffer -75% to all healing for 8 seconds.
•  Jagged Whirl  —  Nargozax whirls, inflicting physical damage to all players within melee range for a short period of time.
•  Void Rifts  —  Nargozax opens a void zone at a random location, dealing shadow damage to anyone standing in it. When Nargozax raises a Deep Void Carbuncle, Void Rifts become Void Elementals who attack targets with melee attacks. When the Deep Void Carbuncle is destroyed, Void Elementals revert back to Void Rifts. Void Elementals have the same amount of health as Nargozax.

Phase Two

Phase Two beings periodically when Nargozax summons a Deep Void Carbuncle.

•  Deep Void Carbuncle  —  Nargozax causes energy from the Deep Void to spill over into the material plane, manifesting as a grotesque crystal that radiates dark energies. While a crystal is active, Nargozax becomes immune to damage. Nargozax will remain stationary and employ his ranged abilities against random targets. As long as the crystal is active.
•  Devour Souls of the Deep Void —  Nargozax drains souls from the Deep Void through the Carbuncle he has summoned, increasing his damage by 1% for every soul.
•  Deep Void Bolt —  Nargozax faces a random target and releases a Deep Void Bolt, which obliterates anything caught in its path.
•  Deep Void Eruption  —  Nargozax causes a burst of dark energy to erupt at a random location, dealing shadow damage to anyone caught in it and knocking them into the air.

Achievements

• The First of Many - Destroy Nargosax the Intruder after he devours 100 souls.
