Genetik, also known as Pipo, started playing WoW on August 2, 2005 when he finally gave in to peer pressure from friends who had been playing since retail. To play with these friends, he chose Server:Elune_US as his home realm. His first character, Pipo, has remained his main character throughout the years. While he has alts and is able to excel at any class and role, Genetik's most familiar role in WoW is Tanking. On July 21, 2010, he announced to his guild that he would be switching mains to his priest, Neuromancer as ranged DPS for the Cataclysm expansion.
Pipo
Pipo is a gnome warrior. His name is taken from the Orson Scott Card novel Speaker for the Dead, which Genetik had just finished reading at the time the character was created. He has main tanked every dungeon encounter in pre-BC through Blackwing Lair including world dragons, every dungeon encounter in The Burning Crusade through Black Temple and every heroic/hardmode dungeon encounter in Wrath of the Lich King with the exception of Heroic Lich King, Heroic Anub'arak and Yogg-Saron 0 Lights.
Thunderfury
On December 13, 2006, Pipo crafted his [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]. The first binding dropped on September 7, 2006 and the second one dropped on December 11, 2006. Regardless of its limited use now, he is quite proud of being an owner of this weapon.
