Background
Dungeon Journal
House Sepsis is said to be the most insidious and vile of all the Beldam. Rather than instilling fevers or crippling nausea, the maidens of Sepsis favor hostile infections that directly assault their opponent's viscera, rotting their insides and causing massive organ failure. It is no surprise they are most at home among the sadistic Nightingales, using the copious dead carried back by the carrion-folk to nurture new and exquisite plagues.
Abilities
Lady Noc'nitza is fought within a vast sepulcher with piles of bodies that reach up the walls. The floor is strewn with random corpses that she will use throughout the fight. Nightingales will periodically fly in and deliver new corpses onto empty locations.
Incubation
Cloud of Flies — Noc'nitza disperses into a cloud of flies and appears at a random location around the room.
Rain of Flux
— When not within melee range of a target, Noc'nitza radiates bolts of vile flux at all targets, dealing steady shadow damage.
Bacteremia
— Noc'nitza's claws inject harmful bacteria into her current target's blood, applying a shadow damage DOT.
Vile Flux — Shoots a bolt of vile flux at a random target, dealing shadow damage.
Incubating Infection — Begins to incubate an insidious plague within one of the corpses around the room, which will erupt in a set period of time, dealing shadow damage to all players and increasing the damage they take from Incubating Infection. If a player stands on top of this corpse, they will instead take a burst of shadow damage and be afflicted with one random Organ Failure.
Organ Failure — The incubating infection ravages a random organ system of the target, inflicting a random effect. Also reduces the damage/healing done by the target and increasing the damage they take, increasing for each stack of Organ Failure the player has. Organ Failure will eventually expire on its own.
Organ Failure: Brain — The brain begins to fail, causing the next ability the player uses to have its cooldown increased substantially.
Organ Failure: Stomach — The stomach begins to fail, causing acid to burn its way through their body, dealing increasing nature damage until healed above 90% health.
Organ Failure: Heart — The heart begins to fail and will completely stop if not stimulated. If the player stops moving, they begin to take shadow damage.
Organ Failure: Lungs — The lungs begin to fail, causing every breath you take to cause excruciating pain. The player will take shadow damage upon moving for a short duration.
Corpse Delivery — Nightingales will periodically fly into the chamber and deliver a fresh corpse onto an empty location, dealing physical damage to all within a set radius of the drop.
Epidemic
Insidious Pathogen — Infects a random target with an insidious pathogen, dealing shadow damage over time and exploding for AOE shadow damage when it expires or is dispelled. When it expires or is dispelled, the infection will lose a stack and move to all players within a set area, leaving the initial target with Lingering Illness. If there are no players nearby, it will reinfect the initial target and apply Lingering Illness.
Lingering Illness — Increases damage taken by Insidious Pathogen.
Black Plague — Once Insidious Pathogen has fully expired by losing all its stacks, Lady Noc'nitza will cast Black Plague, applying a near-lethal shadow damage DOT on all targets. Players with Lingering Illness have built up antibodies to Noc'nitza's plagues, and will taken drastically decreased damage.
