Background

Dungeon Journal

The Retainers of Order have locked down most of the pathways into the Cairn, but the tangles of the jungle have hidden this ruined causeway from their patrols. Unfortunately, this once-promising entrance has become mildly more dangerous with the arrival of the Drev, who have left a formidable Zmey drake behind to slow you down. Be careful not to slip into the mire as it unleashes its vile breath upon you.

Abilities

  • Priest icon chakra red.png Toxic Swamp — Tugarin is fought in a swampy mire filled with lily pads. Touching the mud deals persistent nature damage and slows players heavily, necessitating jumping between the lily pads to get around.

Lord of the Swamp

  • Ability mage worldinflamesgreen.png Decaying Breath — The dragon breaths a cone of noxious gasses centered on its current target, dealing nature damage and leaving a nature DOT on all players hit.
  • Priest icon chakra red.png Sludge Rain — Calls a storm of sludge to appear over a random target, which will deal a burst of nature damage in an area around them after a few seconds and inflict nature DOTs on all players hit. Will poison any lily pad it touches, causing it to wither and disappear after a few seconds. Lily pads will eventually grow back.
  • Priest icon chakra red.png Bile-Wracked Spirit — Stationary bile-wracked water elementals will randomly spawn around the swamp, having been corrupted by Tugarin's presence, spamming Sludge Bolt at random targets. Destroying them will free them, causing them to bless all players with Cleansing Waters. At 5 stacks of Cleansing Waters, these stacks will become Purifying Aura when Vile Murk is cast, allowing players to disperse any Vile Murk in a small area around them by simply running through it.
    • Priest icon chakra red.png Sludgebolt — Inflicts nature damage to a random player.

Baleful Breath

  • Priest icon chakra red.png Vile Murk — Tugarin takes to the skies, breathing a cloud of vile, murky gas across the swamp, dealing increasing nature damage to everyone in it and increasing the shadow damage they take. Vile Murk is only cleared away when a player with Purifying Aura walks through it.
  • Priest icon chakra red.png Bile Bomb — Shortly after casting Vile Murk, Tugarin will clear everyone's stacks of Purifying Aura and bombard the battlefield with Bile Bombs, which highlight a large area of the map and deal a lethal amount of shadow damage to all players within a few seconds later. To adequately avoid these, the swamp must be cleared of as much Vile Murk as possible.

Mythic Changes

  • Bile-wracked Spirits only buff those within a small radius around them with Cleansing Waters when defeated. They are themselves buffed by Poisonous Presence when in close proximity to Tugarin, causing them to deal more damage. Sludgebolt increases the nature damage that players take when hit for a period of time.
  • Bile-wracked Dwellers are large adds that spawn during the first phase and fixate on a random player. If they reach the player they will Ravage them, dealing a lethal amount of damage in a few short seconds. Must be kited and burned down.
  • (Potentially, there may be adds that are revealed within the Vile Murk in the 2nd phase as players attempt to disperse it.)
