The Demon Hunter Order
The Illidari Demon Hunters are a group of Demon Hunters loyal to the Illidari. Created to fight against the Burning Legion they do their job well. They are also deployed in combat along Illidari Demons as they can use the ally demons to draw power from.

History of the Illidari Demon Hunters
When Illidan fled to Outland he took three Night Elf Demon Hunters with him:
These three demon hunters guarded the black temple for many years and were highly effective against invading Legion forces. When Kael'thas join Illidan he sent the first five Blood Elves to Illidan for training. During the training three elves died, and another Leotheras the Blind went insane and was given to Lady Vashj to imprison in Serpentshrine Cavern. The last one, Varedis succeeded and was trained by the three Night Elf demon hunters before passing them and going on to teach more demon hunters.
Siege of the Temple
During the Siege of the Black Temple, the first generation Illidari Demon Hunters were among the first hunted down, but out of that defeat came the motivation for the remaining demon hunters to finish the training to make sure Lord Gathios would be pleased. The demon hunter order now has approximately 171 demon hunters (as of the last count) of various levels of training and mastery level.
Once Akairos returned to the Black temple to his position in the High Illidari Council, Emalion approached him to inform him on all the going-ons, among them being the deaths of Lady Malarnde and Veras darkshadow to remnant leigon forces that took them by surprise and that the council needed filling and the forces of the demon hunters needed filling. Akairos assigned warlocks to tame demons for training purposes. The Illidari Demon Hunters are currently led by the most powerful hunters, Emailon the Cursed and Radinius the Silent.
