Typhinius is a djinn located at Skywall. Typhinius wields both  [Al'burq] and  [Alra'ed], the Fists of the Heavens. He is slain by the new Grandmaster and Li Li Stormstout in the finale of N Monk [10-45] Into The Heavens.

Background

After the great Cataclysm, Al'akir fell during the war against Deathwing. His death created a power vacuum that caused a civil war among the remaining air elementals, squabbling over who was strong and clever enough to take his place. One amongst them, Typhinius, sensed Al'akir's lingering essence within the weapons and used it to end the civil war, proving himself to be so strong that his rivals could not stand against him. While using the Fists of the Heavens, he was very powerful, but very unstable, taking all he had to keep the chaotic energies of the weapons from tearing him apart. In this mad state, he attempted to launch yet another invasion of Uldum while most of Azeroth's champions were preoccupied with the Legion Invasions, despite the fact that the air elemental forces were severely weakened from their civil war a few months prior. Wishing to finish what Al'akir started, he led his forces against the Ramkahen tol'vir, but was swiftly defeated, the power of the Fists alone not being enough to win his war.

Retreating to Skywall, the monk Grandmaster and Li Li Stormstout tracked Typhinius down and finally killed the mad djinn. The Grandmaster held the Fists of the Heavens and, as the teachings of the monks require balance and harmony of spirit, they were able to wield the Fists as Typhinius and Iramaat could not, using them in battle against the Burning Legion.[1]
