The Black Flame were among the first to gain the aid of the mighty hippogryphs in battle.

Thunderhead Hippogryphs are hippogryphs found in the northern part of Azshara. They will sometimes prey on night elves that enter their territory.

Abilities

•  Thundering Rush — The caster rushes forward, leaving a lightning trail behind.

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic Era.

•  Shock — Instantly throws a bolt of lightning at an enemy, inflicting Nature damage.

• They drop  [Pristine Thunderhead Feather] for  [5-30] Shear Will.

Patch changes

• Patch 7.2.0 (2017-03-28): Now tamable.
