The Diary of CV - Part V [66.15, 70.59] is an uninteractable object high on a cliff in the Beastwarrens of the Maw. In the area are some other doodads, including a painter's easel, a sword, Horde shield, shovel, and a few candles.
Note that the area is not on the other side of the gates of Desmotaeron, and players must not attempt to enter the area, as the Grave Chill deals 20% of max health every tick.
To get to the area:
- Start outside the southernmost marked entrance to Desmotaeron in Ravener's Lament [62.93, 75.81]
- Head uphill as far as possible [63.69, 73.19]
- Keep heading north, falling down to the next part of the ridge [63.37, 72.57]
- Head uphill to the end of the same layer [65.20, 68.35]
- Turn around and head south up the hill [65.39, 69.29]
- Head south, to the next small layer [65.27, 70.67]
- Go downhill to the southeast, then loop back to the northeast once the next layer merges in [64.79, 72.21]
- Walk uphill in the valley to reach the location [65.87, 70.92]
