A Kvetch

As currently created (and more, how it is used), this page is not very good at creating disambiguation stubs.

q.v. A [18] A Dark Threat Looms
In this instance, a list of links to individual quests has been created, but nothing differentiates these quests, so no value is gained by using this template. The user is faced with having to roll over the links and guess which link serves her purpose.
q.v. N [30-35] The Binding
a better example, but only by virtue of the names of the links.

Proposal

Simplest, I feel that pages using this template would be best listed as Stub. Better, IMO, would be to unroll this template into its constituent parts. If created robotically, also with the stub tag.

Each questlong instance would be on a separate line, and the author then has the option to provide additional disambiguation information on each line.

  • easier to edit (to add information)
  • fewer templates to be interpreted when serving the page for the same content
  • same work for automated page creators

Stubbing this

Was going to wait for comment to the above, but found that the Aug 3 version (at least) failed to construct links to the quests involved. These pages at least should be revisited. --Eirik Ratcatcher 21:09, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Regarding A [18] A Dark Threat Looms

I agree that this template needs significant work, but I think this is a bad example. In this case, instead of disambiguating the various quests in the chain, the article A [18] A Dark Threat Looms should simply redirect to the quest chain article itself. Hekirou 15:09, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
