Template:Formain

Purpose

This template adds a Hatnote at the top of an article. This template works like {{for}}, but is used specifically on alternate timeline articles to point to the prime universe counterparts.

Usage

Syntax

1. {{Formain|1=PAGE}}
2. {{Formain|1=Page|2=ARTICLE TYPE}}

Output

1. For the character from the main universe, see Page NAME.
2. For the ARTICLE TYPE from the main universe, see Page NAME.

Parameters

• If a PAGE parameter is given the page linked to will have a different name than the current page name.

Example: The hatnote at the Velen (alternate universe) article will be this:

Syntax: {{Formain|Velen}}

Output: For the character from the main universe, see Velen.

• If both ARTICLE TYPE and PAGE parameters are given the "character" word will be replaced with the type entered and the page linked to will have a different name than the current page name.

Example: The hatnote at the Laughing Skull Orcs article will be this:

Syntax: {{Formain|1=Laughing Skull clan|2=clan}}

Output: For the clan from the main universe, see Laughing Skull clan.
