Taming the Beast (night elf 2) is the second pet taming quest in the chain of three for hunters in the Night Elf starting area of Teldrassil. It has the hunter capture a Nightsaber Stalker for use as a pet.
Objectives
Use the 
[Taming Rod] to tame a Nightsaber Stalker. Practice your skills, then return the Taming Rod to Dazalar in Dolanaar.
Description

Take this taming rod and use it to tame a nightsaber stalker, found to the south. Practice your skills as a hunter. Then you will begin to understand the similarities and differences of nature.
