April Fool's joke

'Amusingly', the Treeform given to the Wisp as a joke was later given to druids as a 41 point talent. --Azaram 00:25, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

NPC

What about the Wisp NPC? Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 07:41, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Not important enough to require a stub, or npcbox.... in fact its so unimportant its not even on the database sites. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 07:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Neutral point of view? If by database sites you mean like wowhead, then it is there. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 09:17, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
There's no "neutral point of view" here. Just because one unimportant NPC exist on Wowhead, Thottbot or the like doesn't mean that that it, like Coobra said, require a stub or npcbox. --g0urra[T҂C] 09:38, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually, there has been more than one NPC that exists on wowhead and/or WoW which I have been told is "unimportant". Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 09:41, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
And your point is? Don't drag articles in general that aren't connected to this article. You've been told before not to do that. --g0urra[T҂C] 09:52, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Ok, let me restate it... yes the Darnassus critter has a page, but I believe you were referring to the mentioned in this article... the one aboard the night elf ships. They don't appear on wowhead or the like. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 00:20, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
That is the one I was talking about. The Darnassus "Wisp" is in databases. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 04:01, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Wisps/deceased night elves

Regarding the passage from the WC3 manual: "Legends say that Wisps are actually the disembodied spirits of deceased night elves, but these rumors have yet to be proven."

That may have been the case at the time of WC3, but doesn't WoW's NElf spirit form being that of a wisp confirm it to be true? "Fallen night elves assume the form of wisp spirits, which navigate the spirit world much faster than normal spirits."[1] --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 17:33, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
