High Priestess Azil

For some odd reason, she's listed as a boss in VP despite being the final boss of Stonecore. I'm not sure if this is an oversight or if I'm missing something, but I'm taking it out for the time being.Gigawolf1 (talk) 07:52, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

It's been set that way in the game for around 5 builds now, so i doubt it's an error on Blizzard's part, but intended that she will be the last boss in both – possibly she's now a Twilight Ascendent in VP after her normal apperance in Stonecore. -- Zeal (T/C) 07:59, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
So another setback? --Sairez (talk) 10:08, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
Most likely trying to empower herself in Stonecore, then in Vortex Pinnacle and now fully prepared for the Bastion of Twilight's Twilight Ascendants.

She'll appear in the Bastion of Twilight? --Sairez (talk) 22:25, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
I think A'noob was just playing on my random speculation she might end up ascending to an elemental form. :p -- Zeal (T/C) 22:34, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
I find it a pretty dead giveaway that both achievements use the same NPC ID. It's a placeholder/mistake which they'll fix when they implement VP, but only then. ~ Nathanyel (talk) 14:50, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
The NPC ID can change without the bosss name actually changing, so it's not really indicative of a certain placeholder. Until there's some proof, there's no reason to assume it's wrong, just a possibility.
Notice that the boss is only listed once in the dungeon hero achievement, where as all other end bosses – including multiple ones for some –, were added at the same time this one was. As WIP as that is, it's the one exception of an end boss missing, suggesting that it needed more work than the usual random boss name and id, and that's why it's not listed yet.
We'll have to wait and see, but for now it's accurate and the only thing to go on. -- Zeal (T/C) 15:07, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
True, but there's also no real indicator that her listed in the VP achievement is not a placeholder, hence my motion to at least put "unknown"/"tba" on {{Skywall wings}} ~ Nathanyel (talk) 15:18, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
We have no proof that anything NYI/WIP isn't a placeholder, so that argument is completely flawed. Everything is as accurate as what Blizzard provide, because that's where our information comes from and is assumed to be correct. Until they decide to change that information or contradict themselves there's nothing make it wrong. -- Zeal (T/C) 15:22, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, I just remembered something from an earlier build of the beta, the reputation achievements for some new factions had 'wrong' data, don't remember the details, but the Tol'vir, Earthen Ring, Guardians of Hyjal and Therazane were involved: two of the achievements 'linked' (as seen on Wowhead) to one of the other two, despite listing the correct name. It's fixed by now, though, only a comment on the Hyjal achievement mentions it. PS: just stumbled upon this - I'd say it's easier for them to put in a placeholder item/NPC than to change the structure of an achievement later. ~ Nathanyel (talk) 15:40, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
It proves it's WIP and anything can change, that's all. There's no need to put a disclaimer stating as such next to everything that has a potential to change. -- Zeal (T/C) 15:46, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

THE Vortex Pinnacle

In the game, this instance has the word "The" before "Vortex Pinnacle" so this page should show that as it's name. If it is known more colloquially as "Vortex Pinnacle" there should be a page for that that leads to a page with the correct and full name. Edwallols (talk) 01:02, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

It is currently policy, though a challenged one, to omit all articles from things like location page titles. Blizzard is inconsistent about it in the long run.--SWM2448 01:29, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Instance level

I'm level 85 and I'm looking at the "specific dungeon" list for the dungeon finder, and it lists The Vortex Pinnacle as 81-85. Shouldn't the page be reflecting that? Why is the page listing 84 as an upper limit? MaxWilder (talk) 09:11, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
