Clan or Tribe?

I've got a question and I'm wondering if anyone can give me an answer - why is this page called Thunderhorn clan whereas all other Tauren organizations are known as Tribes. Furthermore, on the Tauren tribes Category, the following text is apparent:

There is very little history on the social organization of the tauren, but they seem to be grouped into "tribes" rather than "clans".

I understand that, in an early Mulgore quest, it says that the members of the Thunderhorn 'clan' spoke to a Tauren through his dreams... so, is it still referring that the Thunderhorns are a clan and not a true tribe (Which I find hard to believe, as Thunderhorns are some of the post prominent Tauren tribes). Is there even a difference between 'clan' and 'tribe', in Tauren lore?

Answers would be appreciated.

Ridiculously delayed reaction, but from what I can tell, blizzard uses tribe and clan pretty much interchangeably. Since there are no official statements and the two terms mean different things in real life, editors here try to keep them seperate. On the same subject, only four out of the seven human kingdoms are kingdoms.--Ijffdrie (talk) 22:34, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
