Taretha In the Expansion

Well, after browsing through some forums, i came across some data mined info about her. Some dude had extracted the speech files for Thrall in the caverns of time, and -i heard- that he mentions her and expresses deep gratitude for her in many of the files. So it seems we will be seeing her in the caverns of time. --Pulyx 10:42, 15 October 2006 (EDT)

I should hope so, she's the most important and developed character in the novels. The player probably has to work with her in some capacity to make sure that Thrall stays on his path. Don't post anything about it on the article, though, except "it is anticipated that she will appear in the Caverns of Time. --Ragestorm 10:42, 15 October 2006 (EDT)

Picture of Taretha

Would it be feasible to throw up a picture of her as she appears in-game?--Zexx 15:51, 18 February 2007 (EST)

Well, accounts are right. She looks almost exactly like Jaina!!! Who knew? -OtherHalfofYang

Eh, almost every one looks like everyone else of their race and sex with few differences, stupid character selection limits, :PBaggins 14:15, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
You've got to give them points for this one, though. -_Ragestorm (talk · contr) 20:34, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Odd, because Thrall claimed she was nothing like her in Cycle of Hatred. But that book had several errors. --Austin P 05:44, 22 April 2007 (EDT)

????? Thrall's said that Jaina very much reminded him of Taretha. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 08:59, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Page 34.

"You are nothing like her in any way, but-when you smiled, just for an instant, you reminded me of Tari."

<shrug> good enough for me.--Ragestorm (talk · contr) 19:49, 26 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm surprised you didn't remind me to sign my posts. Sorry about that. Austin P 19:50, 26 April 2007 (EDT)

Seriously, I bet there is a better picture than the actually one... --Petrovic (talk) 20:17, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Occupation

Shouldn't something like "Mistress of Aedelas Blackmoore" be added under Occupation, or is there some specific reason it aint? -Rovdyr 15:04, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I vaguely recall that there was a reason we didn't put it in, but I can't remember what. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 20:52, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, it could be that it was a secret that only Blackmoore, Langston and the Foxtons knew of? at least thats how i remember it :) -Rovdyr 16:18, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

That's probable. Also, perhaps the fact that she didn't exactly enjoy the position? Put it in if you feel it need it. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 18:52, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

added it as "Unwilling mistress of Aedelas Blackmoore" -Rovdyr 23:32, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Taretha and Tabetha

Can't there be possibly any connection between Taretha and Tabetha (that's the witch in Dustwallow March)? As we saved Taretha in CoT she might be alive and that she is in Dustwallow March can be explained that she wants to be close to Durotar where Thrall lives now but can't show up to him as he thinks she is dead... Gorocz 17:45, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't think so, but that's just me. Swiftstar 22:05, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Swiftstar

Impossible. While we did save her in the Caverns of Time, she wasn't supposed to die then in the first place. Her death comes later, when Thrall returns to Durnholde Keep with the Horde, and Blackmoore lobs her head off the battlements. And when you complete the quest, Erozion tells you that while you succeeded there, Taretha's ultimate fate is unavoidable. -- Dark T Zeratul 00:25, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
