Season 9 update needed

It would be nice if I were wrong - please tell me if I am ;)

As far as I can see, the Vicious gear listed on Wowpedia is all the 364 gear that was previously available; all the Vicious gear now available in-game (for Honor points) is the 371 gear, with slightly higher stats. In addition, a number of the 4-piece set bonuses seem to have changed; for the most part just the stats, down from 180 to 90, but in some cases the bonus itself (such as for priests' Investiture) has changed.

This means that all the numbers for all the vicious items on wowpedia are currently out of date, or at least no longer reflect the vicious items actually obtainable in-game.

If I'm right, some things need to be done:

• Every Vicious item needs to be updated to the current 371 version
• Every Vicious set needs its bonuses updating to the current version
• In addition, Template:Season 9 Arena set needs updating, since the Season 9 Arena set is no longer obtained through the Conquest vendors, but through the Honor vendors

While I'm happy to spend hours updating warlock abilities, I'm unlikely to get through all this dry grinding by myself ;) -- Taohinton (talk) 21:18, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Of course, the items aren't really ood, they're simply the older versions which are no longer available in-game; presumably some players still have some season 9 vicious items. The alternative would be to create separate pages for each season's version of each item; season 9 and 10 vicious items, season 10 and 11 ruthless items, etc, since Blizzard have said they're going to continue with this model. This would mean a lot of extra pages, the older ones being mostly redundant, but would be more accurate especially when transitioning between seasons in the future. Template:Season 9 Arena reward also needs to be updated. I'd do it myself (if I have privileges?) but my previews aren't coming out right and I wouldn't want to screw-up the nice tidy edit history ;) -- Taohinton (talk) 22:14, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing this up to attention. I've been wanting to update the items, but I haven't found the time and/or effort to do it, considering that there are different versions of the season 9 items. However with the current season the season 10 versions of them are more relevant and the Vicious items will be updated to 371. No additional articles will be created.
