It has since been edited, but I'm not sure this is all the much better. The history section is admittedly a bit more orderly, but most beast pages have the big picture in the top right. Maybe I could make a new one rather than reusing the scorpid one though. I'm also going to re-add the scorpion related gear bits if no one has any objections, because it is related to the subject and at least mildy interesting. Also, for future reference: The scorpashi are counted as scorpions rather than scorpids because they drop Scorpion Stingers--Ijffdrie (talk) 16:32, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

Merge with scorpid

Scorpid and Scorpion are different names for the same thing so so should be merged. Scorpid the the name of the hunter pet family so that's why it should be the name of the page over Scorpion. Also Amber scorpion and Arcane scorpid can be merged and also just appear on a single page. Mrforesttroll (talk) 04:50, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Perhaps similarly to the Toad page: make Scorpid a page for the hunter pet family and for the lore have text at the top of that page to this page. Just mention at the beginning of the scorpion page: "Scorpions (often called scorpid)" to mention the fervent naming. Mrforesttroll (talk) 00:59, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

It seems to me that "scorpion" is the rarely used variety here, comparing the wowhead search results for the two names. PeterWind (talk) 13:46, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
