When was this title added to the game? This page says in patch 2.0.3 but this page says about 1.9.0. Also, this page has two sections named "Patch changes". These things confuse me a lot. --Adûnâi (talk) 11:19, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

The title was added in patch 1.9. At this time achievements were not yet a thing. The achievement for having this title was added in patch 3.0.2. But yes the second "patch changes" section serves no purpose as far as i can see. To my knowledge at least. PeterWind (talk) 12:29, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for your help! --Adûnâi (talk) 13:51, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
By the way, if we believe these patch notes ("The title " [Scarab Lord]" can now be chosen in game for select players."), then this article is wrong. So I change the date of introduction to patch 2.0.3. --Adûnâi (talk) 13:56, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
I honestly can't remember precisely how deciding which title you'd have active worked at the top of my head anymore. As I recall it, you were kinda stuck with the latest title you had unlocked, not that there were a lot to choose from at first anyway. I think the patch notes you found refer to the change that allowed players to chose themselves, what title they'd "equip". But I am not all too certain. PeterWind (talk) 18:46, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
Until TBC, I'm pretty sure the only titles you could even get were the PvP ones, and it just showed whatever your highest one was. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:11, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Meaning that the title was, as previously stated in the article, added in 1.9. The option to pick between titles in the case you had more was then added in 2.0.3. That's how I read all this in any case. PeterWind (talk) 23:22, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
...No, that would mean the title was added in 2.0.3, since there were no non-PvP titles before then. This is supported by the revision history on the quest N [60] Bang a Gong!, too. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:41, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Ahh yeah okay. PeterWind (talk) 11:19, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
