Enchanting Rods

I thought for sure I was unable to enchant anything with a Runned Arcanite Rod in my bags, so I posted that the old rods (with the exception of Copper) had become useless. I then deleted the rods. Somebody changed it to say the old ones are useful, but I can't double check without my rod. Is anybody able to confirm/deny that the other rods can be used? Fishing without a pole

Just created a new alt, and confirmed that you CAN fish without a pole. However, if you have any fishing pole in your bag, you MUST equip it (or delete it) to fish. So the original poster was correct. My apologies. Tequima (talk) 21:30, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

That's not... QUITE true. You can fish even if you have a pole in your bag. However, any fishing bonuses on the pole only apply if it's equipped. Ultimately, it just renders the default fishing pole unnecessary. Note that you may have to drag the Fishing icon back onto your bars, because it's technically a new spell and the patch didn't replace the old one on your bars with the new one. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:49, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Downrating battlegrounds

I was pretty sure this feature came in with this patch, but can't find any mention of it - here or anywhere else. Patch 5.0.5 includes the line "Players should no longer be placed into battlegrounds that they have downvoted while queueing for a Random battleground." which means it was implemented in 5.0.4 or earlier, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in before that. Can someone confirm I'm not just missing something obvious? -- Taohinton (talk) 15:58, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

In the absence of any other information, I'm going to go with the assumption that this was implemented in this patch. Also unmentioned but presumably added here is the acceleration of the Call to Arms battleground system.
