I would think that this should be at "patch 4.0.1" and the Cataclysm patch page moved to some other place until we know what its version number will be. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:00, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

4.0.0.12911 based on the update files? -- Sraw (talk) 07:28, September 20, 2010 (UTC) ((WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-NA-Stage-x))
We can only assume it is just the way they want to number their test build though because the official site calls it 4.0.1 (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/). -- Dcemuser (talk)
The initial PTR client download is 4.0.0, but it updates to 4.0.1 before you can play. - Sikon (talk) 12:32, October 6, 2010 (UTC)

More Details?

Don't know what the standard process is for patch notes. So far, this page is mostly a copy of http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/, which is woefully lacking in details. On the other hand, http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/?topic=98116.0 is amazingly detailed. Should we pursue getting that information onto this page, or does Blizz usually release more-detailed notes after the patch goes live? --Keyesc (talk) 19:38, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

Skirmishes/War Games

The removal of skirmishes and the implementation of War Games happened on or before October 14th 2010 (according to this), so I'm thinking this was the patch (2010-10-12) when both of these things happened. I'm therefore adding patch notes accordingly. If anyone has knowledge otherwise (or can confirm this is correct) please chime in. -- Taohinton (talk) 12:48, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
