Berserking sound

Troll's [Berserking] seems to have received the sound of Warcraft III's Troll Berserker. I cannot remember having heard the sound before, so I guess it should be noted here. --bfx (talk) 13:52, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Warriors' [Bloodrage] ability has also received a new sound, although IIRC it sounds more like the Ogre Mages' Blood Lust in Warcraft II... I may be wrong though. Also, I don't know if other warrior abilities (like Enrage) or the druids' own Enrage ability have gained this new sound. (EDIT: Bleh, forgot to sign...) --Dorenthas (talk) 17:28, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Lua and XML Changes

I will be adding any undocumented cahnges to Lua/XML as I come across them with a link back to the forum thread in which it appears--Honem (talk) 02:30, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Adding link to another page on Lua and XML changes .... Can someone rewrite this to make it sound cooler please. I am lacking in cool ATM ;( --Honem (talk) 02:30, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Unreachable Windy Clouds

I found at least two different unreachable Windy Clouds in Nagrand. I guess it really wasn't fixed after all, or the fix was incomplete. --Dorenthas (talk) 14:04, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Tiger mount

It's mentioned that as of 2.4 Tiger mounts no longer made sounds when pressing the space bar. This appears to have been fixed as of 2.4.2

No more auto-dismount in Thunder Bluff buildings

There seems to be no more auto-dismounting happening as of this patch in the buildings that are the anchor points of the Thunder Bluff bridges. You can now ride across the bridges and through the buildings, or even stand still, without the annoying dismount. Wigs (talk) 14:32, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

That changed in 2.4.0 or 2.4.1. --k_d3 18:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
It was 2.4.0 and it's in the official patch notes, so its not like they didn't tell us. In fact when I read them I was like "About damn time." Farsight no longer chainable ??

One of the changes for Shamans listed in the undocumented patch notes is the inability to chain cast Farsight as a shaman .

I don't believe that is true.

I can still chain cast Farsight on my shaman as long as where I'm farsighting to is in line of sight of the previous ones. I've had it fail on a rare occasion but not often. Just now I was able to far sight from the Flight path in Un'goro to the great void between the 2 continents

Is there something I'm missing ?? Is it still chain castable or not (cause it sure looks like I can)

I vote that if no one posts a citation or confirms this the it gets taken off the wiki page - I chain the farsight spell on my shaman all the time (and yes after 2.4.2) . I'll do some tests on the 2.4.3 PTR to ensure it's not a 2.4.3 change that mistakenly got put on this wiki for some reason --Honem (talk) 07:59, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Shaman is the one class I just couldn't get into... I found having to put totems down all the time rather annoying. So I can't verify it myself, but since Only one person seems to think it no longer works, with a few others disagreeing, I'd say go ahead and remove it. I have tested this on the 2.4.3 PTR . I was able to chain cast the Far Sight spell nearly to Zangermarsh (I took a right at that Temple place and lost the spell somehow) . I was also able to chain chain cast the Far Sight spell around in a loop de loop which should of failed due to an Line of Sight spell I thought. I will be repeating this test in the live 2.4.2 once I login today. I'll only remove if someone here agrees with my findings (or repeats my test)

--Honem (talk) 02:26, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Have tested it on Live . You can definitely chain cast it --Honem (talk) 14:25, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

On furthar testing I think I can see where the OP of this section was going from (no do not put that section back in :) ). My premade shaman just got copied to the PTR so I had a good excuse to do some testing ;D

It's a limitation of the Far Sight spell itself. If you aim it at certian buildings with thin vertexes you'll partially see the inside of the building and even sometimes underneath it (Stormwind was good for this) . If you try to re-aim your farsight spell it will sometimes be targeting the same spot (the targeting circle may not show up in the right spot). Hence the reason why the OP thought you couldn't do it anymore. In fact you can but you just need to be carefull where you aim it.

I'll add that bit into the wiki for the Far Sight spell as soon as can get some more confirmations from other Shamans on the wow forums Honem (talk) 11:54, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
