half of those animals aren't otters, like the Mongoose or the Civet. They only use their model, so it is basically a "otter model" page. So without a veto, I will remove them.--LemonBaby (talk) 08:29, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

You can't just assume that from the names, maybe Blizzard decided to use those names as otters instead of creating different species that all look-alike. --CogHammer.gifDoomeЯ TBattlegroup RoundIcon.pngC 08:32, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
Are you serious or sarcastic? This is a Civet and this is a Mongoose. Mongoose are known for eating snakes as are those in Warcraft (Mongoose:" Contrary to its benign appearance, mongoose are dangerous carnivores, well known for their ability to hunt venomous snakes that could kill much larger creatures."). There is no way Blizzard used those names as otters. Its like saying the Horned Lizard is a Warp stalker. They are just using the same model. So the Mongoose should either be removed or the page renamed as List of NPCs using the Otter model.--LemonBaby (talk) 08:54, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
I know what the animals are.. and they do look-alike (same shape.. sorta), and if you're going to go on about that point, then pretty much all races would need changing as there's no telling what race they are. Best options would be either to keep the page as it is or else put a sub-section in this page called "Mobs using this model" (or something similar) and you'd list what needs to be listed in that sub-section. --CogHammer.gifDoomeЯ TBattlegroup RoundIcon.pngC 09:22, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Here's your veto. The page stays. --g0urra[T҂C] 12:20, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
I never intended to remove the page - I intended to remove the non-otters from the otter page. I don't think it is a good idea to list the races of warcraft based on their model. They share the same model, but are not part of their species. So why are the Mongoose part of the otter page? The elk shares his model with the stag and got its own page.--LemonBaby (talk) 20:05, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
If you're willing to flesh out the individual articles ((golden) civet, mongoose) with additional details—at the very least a different creature model—then you're free to do that. --g0urra[T҂C] 12:05, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
Less detailed than the otter page is hardly possible at the moment ;) --LemonBaby (talk) 13:55, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
