Moon
When the game went retail, you could always see two moons,
- then one of them got hit by a graphical bug, which only
- displayed half of it, and now there's only one.
- Basically, the second moon got nerfed :( [1]

- Yeah. I've been looking for the smaller, blue moon on nights that I remember to look into the sky. I don't think it's there, so I wonder if there are any other sources, aside from the two mentioned, that state that. I haven't read the RPG books or anything past the first book in WotA, so I've gotten a bit out of date. --Yaki 04:21, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- I definitely remember seeing it at one point in time. Probably during the beta days, I know I've seen it right next to the White Lady.

Outland's moons
Not every heavenly body visible in the skies of outland is necissarily a moon. Outland no longer exist in the physical plane, its floating through the twisting nether; half physical half something else. Thats why Azeroth is visible from its surface. Its possible that some of these so called moons are infact other planets that are close enough to be seen through the nether.Tweak the Whacked (talk) 07:23, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- That is true, and more importantly I think I pointed this out before you can't trust anything you see in the twisting nether, it changes forms, and its appearance can very from time to time. Things that may be seen may only be illusions, and not even connected to Outland at all.Baggins (talk) 07:59, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well do we call them planetary satellites or what? I am just adding to the other moons that were listed on here as I notice them. I didn't really pay attention to objects, people, and the sky before joining wowiki.LOL At least you can see these in the sky unlike one of Azeroth's moons which isn't viewable in the sky. Rolandius

- A planetary satelite means it revolves around the planet. Its pure speculation that any objects seen in twisting nether revolve around Outland or not... Also one might note that what objects one sees varies depending on the zone one is in. Some areas you can't see the same number or exact same objects, as you would see in another area. One of these such objects just happens to be the planet Azeroth itself as well.Baggins (talk) 09:25, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Earthmother sending Blue Child to explore the universe - is this correct?
The following sentence about Blue Child has been challenged as needing a citation: 'The Earthmother sent it to explore and study the rest of the universe shortly before the release of The Burning Crusade.' I've been interested in Blue Child for a while and always thought it was removed without explanation.
If Earthmother did send Blue Child to explore the universe, that could have big implications. Presumably Blue Child would return at some point after visiting other worlds. Does anyone know anything about this or is it something that comes from fanon? David Shepheard (talk) 14:23, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Split discussion - separate articles for White Lady and Blue Child please
I've added the split template to this article as I think it would be useful to readers to be able to have specific articles for White Lady and Blue Child. There is already a separate article for Pale Lady and I think it is easier to understand the way that is organised than this article.
I would also like to see a Moon navigational template that leads to a general article here and the other moon related articles (unless someone can think of a better navigational template to use).
At the very least, I would like to see this article changed into sections on the three moons, with template main pointing to the main articles when they can be made.
The fact that Blue Child has vanished from the skies of the MMO, while White Lady has not means that it would be useful to know things like the patch where Blue Child vanished. And if the Embrace is going to involve a conjunction of the two moons then Blue Child may return in patch 4.2. David Shepheard (talk) 15:03, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

- Three articles where of two had very similar content, and all of them were very short, have now been assimilated into the Moon article, so that the Blue Child, White Lady and Pale Lady articles now all redirect to the Moon article, which should be more comprehensible and easy to read now. --Oponyxal (talk) 18:47, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Embrace
Just recently LemonBaby Added two images of two moons together, called Embrace (The two moons) and Embrace 2 (The Embrace)
. Where do these come from? Are they from before the Blue Child "left", from Outland somewhere, or from 4.3 PTR, or what? (I'll be very happy if they're from 4.3, and we get both moons back.) (Edit:Cleanup)
