True Gnomes

There appears to be some doubt as to whether or not Gnomes were actually once pure machines. However, seeing as Mechazod transformed some into mecha-gnomes, and there are existing Mecha-gnomes near Ulduar, I'm pretty sure he was telling the truth.Gigawolf1 (talk) 22:21, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes but you needto remember that he was built, the others may have been just built, im gonna put it back as it says that it MAY be a lie or truth. we arent sure--User:Whitedragon254You know im seriously 1337 now. {T1337 to the extreme.CThe dragon protects me...that and my MG 30 glock of course..) 03:37, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Having done the quests in Storm Peaks relating to Ulduar, I believe it is safe to say that Mechagnomes are the original, uncursed form. Also, the one in Borean Tundra was dug up and then rebuiltGigawolf1 (talk) 15:16, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Also during a horde quest, you use a totem to capture the souls of the gnomes from the Mechagnomes...proving they were not just built.--Gurluas (talk) 15:01, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Name

Why isn't this article called Clockwork gnome? Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 13:24, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

because they are called in game mechaognomes? Noobi666 (talk) 13:41, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

I know, but they could also easily be called Clockwork gnomes since they are mechanical, clockworks, and a gnome variety. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 13:59, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
They could be, but they're not. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:08, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
