Other than unique naming conventions, where do we see them use any form of unique language? I went through dozens of Mantid NPC quotes and they don't appear to do anything unique, for all we know they're speaking mogu (language). Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! As I read the translation of Klaxxi meaning Priest in the old tongue, to which old tongue does it refer to... we're learning this lore from the pandaren technically, so is the "old tongue" the original pandaren language? I didn't consider that possibility, but "Klaxxi" doesn't really sound like a pandaren word, and considering how the mantid view the pandaren I find it unlikely they'd use a pandaren word in the first place. DeludedTroll (talk) 05:48, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Mantid predate the mogu and would have an insectoid language. The other insectoid empires had their own languages, so the mantid likely did too (or they kept the original aqiri language). There's really nothing to go on for what that language might be. At the very least {{Bettername}} should be used. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 07:05, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Oh Klaxxi is completely Mantid, but the pandaren of old may have considered that word to mean priest. I don't know, just weird it didn't get represented at all like the Nerubian and Qiraji did. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 08:03, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Alternatively, I could move the info on this page to a speculation section or somesuch on the main mantid page. The reason I made this page was because I had noticed the consistent uses of "'thik" and "'vess" in mantid place names, as well as the Klaxxi=Priest thing, which I thought was indicative of a unique language. As was noted by Aquamonkeykeg, since Ahn'Qiraj and Azjol-Nerub both had their own unique languages, it would make sense for the mantid to have their own language as well, but maybe I was wrong in thinking it was enough to warrant a separate page for it. Oh I'm sure they had their own language, but I wonder if like the other races on Pandaria that its been long forgotten. Either way I don't have anything against the page staying at this point cause we can't really prove that Klaxxi=Priest is pandaren, mogu, or mantid... just that its an old tongue from one of those three.
